Thanksgiving Donations

At A Mother’s Touch Movers, we know how busy everyone becomes during the Thanksgiving holiday. In addition to enjoying a festive meal and mingling with family and friends during this time, we understand the importance of sharing with those less fortunate in Brevard County.

Many people choose to make charitable donations before Thanksgiving in order to brighten the holiday season for others. According to charitynavigator.org, 69% of Americans donate to charity, and 58% of people use social networking to share information regarding charities because they believe it creates an impact.

We’ve compiled a short list of food pantries and other organizations local to Brevard County that accept different donations. If you choose to make a contribution, check the organization’s suggested items or specific restrictions beforehand. (For example, some places do not want perishable, only non-perishable, items.) You can also further research many charities on sites like charitynavigator.org, give.org, or charitywatch.org.
